Can you guess what environment Aaron will be diving into in episode 27?

I took this photos while recording the sound effects for the next episode. It's a big bowl of water and Aaron got dunked about 18 times so we could capture just the right sounds we needed. Sometimes we use the sounds, sometime we don't. But it's alway a lot of fun.

Plus, we have more email questions than episodes left in the season so we'll be answering several in the next episode. Eliot, Jeremy, and Andy (3 kids from 3 different countries) have been very patient. Thanks, kiddos! Your answers are coming soon.

Oh, and we haven't forgotten Molly. Her question will be in episode 28 along with a really cool surprise! By the way, Molly sent us a picture and Aaron and I agree... we've found another Princess Scientist!

We don't usually review books, but Daniel Loxton is Aaron's favorite science author for kids, so we made an exception. Ankylosaur Attack is the first book in the Tales of Prehistoric Life series and we were fortunate enough to receive a review copy (we've since purchased 2 more!). This is a "must have" item for any young dinosaur lovin' kids.

We highly recommend both of Daniel's recent science books for kids...

The Aaron's World team (aka our family) is heading to Atlanta next week (Sept 2-5) for Dragon*Con! We're excited!

In addition to attending the Parsec Awards Ceremony and having tons of fun... we'll also be participating in a podcasting panel to discuss how we make Aaron's World.

Paleokids at Teen Skepchick!

One of our listeners (Ali Marie) writes for the Teen Skepchick blog and mentioned our little podcast in her latest post. Child Scientists: Paleokids. Ali is herself studying paleontology in college and doing some really exciting work. Aaron was thrilled to hear from a REAL college student and EXTRA excited that Ali took the time to answer some of his own questions. Thanks, Ali!

If you have kids or teens that enjoy science, this is a great blog for them to follow! It offers wonderful thoughts, skills and examples of how young kids can strengthen their "critical thinking" muscles.

Still Working on Season Finale

Hi everyone! We just wanted to let you know that we're still working on the season finale. It's a bit more elaborate than others and taking a lot of extra time. But I think it'll be worth the wait.

Aaron wants you to know that this episode might be a little scary for younger kids. Lots of loud roars. His advice is to keep the lights on and cuddle with something (or someone) you like while you listen. I think that's good advice.
